Mechanical & Plumbing Works
Project Overview: BPS Group were selected for undertake the Mechanical & Plumbing works for the prestigious upgrade of Hampden Stadium for the Euro 2020 championships, allowing the stadium to be upgraded to the required UEFA requirements.
The works comprised an upgrade to 26nr Hospitality Boxes in the Main South Stand, and the Refurbishment of the North Stand Lounges. BPS carried out LTHW, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, BMS Upgrades and Refurbishment of the Toilet Facilities.
A highlight of this project was the challenge of the installation of 2nr New Air Handling Units, and AC Condensers, which required careful logistics of being lifted onto the roof of the stadium. All of which was a success on a cold winters morning.
