BPS Group were contracted by the Glasgow City Council to conduct removal, modification and like for like replacement of the chilling system for the SEC Armadillo.
The scope of works undertaken by BPS Group included prework of water testing, the down taking of previous pump and chillers whilst striping back pipework.
A full replacement of the chillers and pump installation was conducted and a building management system control was fitted.
As one of Europe’s premier conference venues works had to carried out effectively and efficiently to adhere to the SEC’s busy schedule. Working with ARUP consultants the mechanical and electrical services required were delivered to the highest quality and on schedule.
This £328,000 project received an exemplary post contract customer satisfaction score and is just one example of time constraint and diligent projects the BPS Group provide.
